• leaves their dirty clothes on the floor: newt [side eye emoji] like alby folds his own laundry and owns a garment steamer but when newt gets dressed he just picks his shit up off the floor and looks good anyway 

• forgets to run the dish washer: probably newt lmao but they probably hate dishes anyway and eat things with plastic utensils on paper towels and plates like theyre livin some sad post-apocalyptic life (zombie apocalypse!nalby yOOO)

• pumps gas for the car: alby and newt makes him keep the radio on and alby has to stand there and wait for the tank to fill while newt listens to what alby refers to as Garbage

• drives when they’re going somewhere: alby. does newt even has his license?? if he does i doubt he uses it for good, so

• rearranges the furniture: newt and its kind of a nervous habit so yes, alby’s going to help him drag the coffee table across the living room for the fourth time this week at 2am

• falls asleep with the TV on: newt when alby makes him watch history channel documentaries he could literally care less about (AMERICAN history no less oh god) and alby when newt keeps pausing dramatic movies to freak out so it’s like why even stay awake for a film i’m being PREVENTED FROM ENJOYING

• gets to use the bathroom first: newt for hair reasons

• decides the temperature for the ac/heater: alby Who is Sensitive to the Cold

• sets up holiday decorations: newt?? like tbh it’s scary how alby can wake up on december 1st and be drowning in poinsettias 

• leaves the lights on: newt. literally pls try to bring yourself to make the slightest to attempt at conserving energy

• fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber): ohhh my god newt calls one but alby breathes down their neck the entire time they’re there to make sure they’re doing it right
